  • Science Question of the Week

New starting this week! Answer the weekly blog question!
*Remember to be school appropriate! If you don't see your response right away it is because I have it set so that all responses go though me first.

Mrs. Sneller's Science Class

What is RRKS?

R = Respectful
R = Responsible
K = Kind
S = Safe

RRKS are my classroom expectations. When students are following the RRKS they are rewarded. Students get 5 conduct points in my class everyday. If they are tardy, missing supplies, or disrupt the class, etc, they lose points. Students who lose 5 or more points in a week do not get Friday Free Time. Students who were not responsible in doing their homework or classwork will also lose Friday Free Time. Friday Free Time is a 15-20 minute period at the end of class on Friday when students can relax and play games with their friends.

Students that go above and beyond classroom expectations will be rewarded with a RRKS ribbon. When the class earns their classroom goal of ribbons they get a party!
Bonus Point Opportunity
Supplies are running low! We need the following items:
  • Paper Towels
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Candy (used for classroom incentives and rewards for review games)

I will give 5 points for any of these items. To be fair I only allow students to receive bonus points for one of the items.
